Hello,

I'm using SQL Server Management Studio 2005  Express Edition SP2.

I've downloaded the latest SqlAssistSSMS2005Setup.msi from your website.

I've closed all applications and installed the .msi (I didn't have any previous version installed)

I launch the SQL Server Management Studio and login.

Then I open a stored procedure from a database and start typing 'SELECT'  but I see no new toolbar and no new menu options anywhere.

Everything inside SQL Server Management appears as nothing has been changed.

How do I get the SqlAssist functionality working ? Thanks for helping because I'm confused.

I mentioned that I've checked these two DLLs to be registered

that SqlAssist is not available  for SSMSEE? Thank you very much. The Dowload page is this:

- I think there has to be a means to simulate Intellisense in the Express Edition as well.

The Red Gate "SQL Prompt" product does that successfully for the Express Edition.

I don't know their implementation details of course. Maybe some kind of Win32 hooks would help controlling the SSMSEE code editing window.

Once a DLL hook is loaded in the SSMSEE process address space, then the content of the SSMSEE code editing window could maybe be read and modified ?
